Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Dating? An Update
Come on! So much has happened. Take another look and let us know what you think. Are Rob and Kristen together and dating now? Is Robsten on?
Yes, yes we know. Everyone wants an update on our previous story about whether Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are dating. We’ve started it a thousand times, had great plans to get it done earlier, and then something else was alleged, then another something…
Frankly, there was so much in the way of allegations, rumors, “incriminating pictures”, tweets, stories from unnamed “sources” and on and on that the entire thing got too insane. How in the world do we deal with it all?
So, we’re going to break it down and try our best to keep it sort of simple. It’s still a lot of information. Are Rob and Kristen together now? Oh boy, here we go…
The Evidence
As we stated in our story back in March, there didn’t really appear to be much in the way of actual “evidence” out there. Just a whole ton of speculation. We’ll be honest. We don’t give much weight at all to stories that quote unnamed sources, stuff from gossip columnists, what is said by the paparazzi, and all of the rest of the hoopla. If you take away all of that, there’s really not much left. That’s a good thing, though, because it allows us to focus. We’re going to look at a couple basic things.
If they are together, are they trying to keep it secret?
This is a very important question as we will get into why later on. We think based on what we have seen, we will have to assume that the answer to this question is “yes”. Rob and Kristen have never once been seen out in public behaving as a romantic couple. No holding hands, no kisses, etc. Therefore, if they are together we will go on the assumption that they do not wish it to be a known fact.
What Have Rob and Kristen Actually Said?
As we stated, there is very little actual, sourced information from people that have nothing to gain from “Robsten” out there, even now. The stars themselves have given virtually no interviews on the subject since the filming of New Moon began. The only direct quote on the subject we have is from Robert’s interview with Entertainment Tonight, which aired on April 24, 2009 (at approximately 1:30):
RP: There was some magazine doing a thing about me and Kristen the other day…
MH: Gossip that links Robert Pattinson with a slew of Hollywood hotties, including his Twilight lady love, Kristen Stewart. The final secret is: they’re platonic friends.
TA: I mean, if you even talk to a girl, she’s your girlfriend, right?
RP: Yeeeah…in reality, yeah. [laugh] It is weird–and especially people who, you know like, aren’t famous…
A longer, fuller quote ran in an ET promo for the interview:
“It becomes a joke. There was some magazine doing a thing about me and Kristen the other day and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine. You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It’s really bizarre.”
That quote seems pretty clear to us. He is, however, calling the fact that magazines were doing stories on it ridiculous and bizarre, though–so we suppose we can accept that some people would not considered the quote a complete denial. And unfortunately, that’s all there is in the way of direct quotes from Rob or Kristen about the situation.
Looking at Twitter
We hate Twitter…might as well being honest here. Anyone can open any account and say absolutely anything and no one can verify a single thing. So many outright lies and inaccuracies are spread through Twitter. We will look at one particular tweet, though, since it alleges to be an eyewitness report of Rob and Kristen making out in May after a Sam Bradley concert in Vancouver. Per “model/athlete/trainer/coach/blogger” aliciabellelite:

The tweet has a couple of pluses in the “valid” department. One, the woman in question who did the tweet does appear to work part-time for the venue of the concert, per her earlier tweets. She would, therefore, have had access to the backstage area of the venue after the concert, when she alleges the two were making out. And secondly, this tweet was done “live”: that is, at approximately the time it was supposed to have occurred. We are extremely suspicious of tweets that occur after the event.
However, not everything looks perfect, though. She posted a pic of Rob and Kristen at the concert. This is only significant because she indicates that she asked earlier to take a photo of Rob and he requested she not do so. She later took a photo later anyway, surreptitiously. She also immediately followed the “making out” tweet with a plug for her website and her personal training career–that’s never something that ups someone’s validity quotient. And then, finally, she appears to have run to People Magazine with the story:
“Robert was leaning against the wall, his arms around Kristen, and they were full-on making out, totally acting like a couple,” says Vancouver nightclub waitress Alicia Bell in the new issue of People.
Now things are starting to look not quite right. We’ll go back to our initial question asking if Rob and Kristen are together, are they trying to be secret about it? If you think the answer to that question is yes (and we do), then the idea that the two would be making out in front of the band, the employees of the venue (who they don’t know), and anyone else who managed to be backstage that night seems very hard to swallow. This, along with everything else, makes the tweet not hold much weight with us.
So, what else is there? Oh yes…
The Morning After at The Charlie Hotel
It’s the smoking gun. The bloody handkerchief. It’s the bagged, tagged evidence to end all evidence, right? Or is it? Let’s take a look at the paparazzi video and photographs of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at The Charlie Hotel the morning after the MTV Movie Awards in June.
The X17 Online website claimed the following in the text to their story on the morning after the MTV Awards:
After the awards show Rob and Kristen headed to Cecconi’s for a bite to eat, and the duo left the trendy eatery around 11pm, and they were followed by a police escort to The Charlie Hotel in West Hollywood…The lovebirds booked themselves a private chateau, and we didn’t see them again until noon, when they emerged from their bungalow, looking like they’d both just rolled out of bed!
They ratchet up the romance with this quote from the paparazzo that took the photos:
“Rob was preoccupied with getting all of his stuff in the car and Kristen was hiding behind her sunglasses looking a little tired, but waiting to say goodbye. Right before Rob got into the SUV, the couple stood behind the car door and I’m pretty sure there was a brief kiss!”
Let’s go through it piece by piece.
According to numerous reports Rob and Kristen did indeed appear to go to the restaurant Cecconi’s for dinner after the awards. However, various people have also stated that they were not there alone, they were with Rob’s manager and agent, and possibly others. So the text is misleading on this point.
And we’re not buying the report of a police escort to The Charlie Hotel. At all. First off, why would Rob, Kristen, or their management call for a police escort back to the hotel? The only reason we can imagine would be if they were being surrounded or harassed by the paparazzi or fans. However, not a single photograph of the two at that restaurant, leaving that restaurant, or going or “checking into” The Charlie Hotel has been seen. Not one. Frankly, we think it’s completely made up.
The report makes it sound as if these paparazzi were present during the police escort and watched the two check in. But again, they didn’t take a single photo if that was the case, which we find hard to believe.
So what we are left with are the photos and video of the next day around noon. They do indeed show Rob and Kristen at the black SUV loading things into his car. Kristen Stewart’s mother is present, as is a man with grey hair–some people have identified this man and Kristen Stewart’s grandfather, but we doubt this–[Edit - a commenter has indicated the man in question is most likely the owner of The Charlie Hotel] as well as a young woman with long brown hair and a man who may be a driver or security. The woman with long brown hair has never been identified, to our knowledge.
Fortunately, there is video as well, and the video is far more telling than the photographs. The video appears to be shot through the gaps in some type of fence or behind some obstacle (inside a car? it is not clear).
First off, we note that there appear to be at least two paparazzi at the location: two shooting video, perhaps another shooting photographs. Their conversation during the video provides some interesting insights.
Paparazzi #1 - Dude, she’s in there.
Paparazzi #2 - No the both–he’s still on the side of the car.
Paparazzi #1 - Yeah, but she’s there, too.
Paparazzi #2 - Who?
Paparazzi #1 - Kristen.
Now, this is a little confusing, because according to their written statements the paparazzi didn’t see Rob and Kristen again “until they emerged from their bungalow“. The implication in that statement is that they witnessed the two come out of a (shared) bungalow. However, if that was the case, why did the paparazzi sound excited and surprised and comment that Kristen happened to be there, too? And if the two emerged from the bungalow together, where is that footage? We can only assume there is no such footage.
Kristen’s mother seems very comfortable and mothering toward Rob in the footage. Rob gives her a hug, she is seen smoothing his hair, etc. Later in the footage we see Rob talking to someone in a black or dark grey Mini Cooper. Kristen has a very similar black Mini Cooper, and I think it is fair to assume that this is most probably her car and Rob was speaking to Kristen. He smiles, talks a little and then waves goodbye and gets into the black SUV which was apparently taking him to the airport.
Oh the “kiss” that the paparazzo alleges? There isn’t one. Anywhere. That is a total lie.
That’s pretty much all the footage shows. So, we get to a big question that we don’t think can be answered by the footage that was made available to us by the paparazzi.
Were Rob and Kristen aware that they were being photographed?
This is a huge question. At no point does anyone really stare toward the cameras. The paparazzi in question speak fairly normally (not whispering), so we can assume they were far enough away not to be concerned that they would be overheard or were concealed in some fashion (as evidenced by their video). The entire group appears to be acting rather normally. Rob, in particular, who tends to put his head down as soon as he is aware he is being photographed is just standing around normally. If the group was not aware the paparazzi were around, we would argue that this tape is actual pretty strong evidence that Kristen and Rob are not together. He is getting ready to leave for several month’s worth of filming, and although Mrs. Stewart garners a hug from him before leaving, Kristen gets nothing more than a laugh and a wave.
Of course, it is more than possible that the two would not show any affection in public just in case there were photographers around.
Which begs the question: Why else would Kristen Stewart be at this hotel, unless she was staying with Rob? Well, if it were not for the MTV Movie Awards the previous night, we would agree. However, it is pretty standard practice for even L.A.-based actors to be put up in a hotel prior to big awards shows so that they can have the hair, makeup, and wardrobe teams come there to get the star ready for the red carpet and the cameras. Summit obviously put Rob up at the hotel for the awards, but did they do the same for Kristen? Honestly, we don’t know. Maybe, maybe not.
So this evidence is all very intriguing. Obviously, if Rob and Kristen were sharing a bungalow, there’s no question that the two are (or have been) together. Unfortunately, though, the evidence doesn’t go quite that far.
The Verdict
Every tabloid magazine, gossip columnist and a whole heap of fans think this is a done deal. It is screamed from the headlines every day: “Rob and Kristen are in Love!” Frankly, though, we don’t think it’s nearly so cut and dried. Is there some circumstancial stuff out there? Yes. But if you take away the gossip columnist’s ramblings from “unnamed sources” and silly things like photographs where the two are “looking really intently at each other” and just look at the actual evidence, it’s not nearly so overwhelming. We would not call it a sure bet. At all.
We will say the following. It does appear that Kristen Stewart is no longer living with Michael Angarano. The two have not really been seen together since April. If Michael was off doing a film this would be understandable, but it appears he is in the Los Angeles area. The two may be taking a break or lying low for the cameras, but we’re guessing that the relationship is probably no longer solid. However, that does not necessarily mean that Rob and Kristen are together.
We also believe that there is no great Summit conspiracy to keep the two apart. Studios may discourage stars from dating, but we doubt there are signed contracts to that effect. If Rob and Kristen are together and wanted it to be known, they would do so, in our opinion. The fact that they haven’t gives us pause. Kristen had no problem whatsoever being public with her relationship with Michael. Do Rob and Kristen just want privacy? Or are we not seeing anything because there is nothing to see?
There’s enough smoke here and elsewhere, though, for us to wonder. If you take the various possibilities (a casual thing, they were together, they are together, etc.) we suppose it’s a possibility based on what we’re seeing. Until we hear from the two involved–or until one of the two makes a proveable cross-country visit and is seen with the other–we’ll just move this to unresolved. Frankly, we wouldn’t be surprised at all to hear that they are were together at this point…but neither would we be surprised to hear that they aren’t and never actually were.
Whew. So nearly 2500 words later we get to…UNRESOLVED. Not very satisfying, but that’s the way it is…for now.

Rob and Kristen have an innate chemistry.That’s a fact,nobody can deny.Maybe this is a chemistry that leads to great friendship and nothing more.I’ve seen and read all the articles,the photos,the gossip about them and the only thing i’m thinking all this time is:LEAVE ROB AND KRISTEN BREATHE!I feel that all these yellow covers of the magazines-especially the one i read today about Kristen being pregnant!!!-the haunting of the paps and the obsession of a majority of fans,is totally out of control.R/K haven’t done something to deserve all this crap.They just played their roles fine at a movie.Why people goes so crazy about them,especially with Rob?He’s a cute boy,but lately he looks always stressed and sad.Not to mention Kristen who hates cameras anyway.If they’re together,with all this publicity they must be very unhappy,because they can’t have fun as a young couple.Do their own thing.Personally,i don’t think they’re a couple,because i’ve not seen strong evidence.And the stronger evidence for me is to hear from their own lips that they’re together.Since then,i;ll stick with the friendship thing.
Actually Kristen stayed in a differnt Hotel from Rob. Mandy bloged about Rob going to Kristen’s hotel to pick her up on May the 8th. As well as Y2John and a other people. If Kristen moved to Robs’s hotel, she did so the last week before she left for Itlay.
by the end of the year they will have completed Eclipse & basking in the glow of the release of New Moon. Eclipse will come out in June of 10 & then Breaking Dawn will come soon after that. It looks like we are in for a long ride!
OMG!!!! Did anyone see the tabloid magazine in Australia that is saying Kristen is pregnant by Rob???? Those poor kids, it just gets more chaotic by the second. They are saying that she sent a friend to the drugstore to get a test for her. How believable is this rumor guys???
I just discovered your website and enjoyed reading the article and comments. I personally think they have been attracted to each other from the day of their audition for Twilight. They have both admitted to feeling a connection to each other that day. Chemistry? Hormones? who knows. Catherine Hardwicke has said the two of them had amazing sexual chemistry at the audition and she has been quoted as saying “she made Rob promise he would not get at Kristen because her boyfriend (Michael Arganano) was a close friend of hers” Who is to say Catherine didn’t have their contracts state they could not be romantically involved while the movies were being filmed?
Summit is not Disney but you are dealing with a fanbase mainly of teenage girls who are absolutely crazy for Robert Pattinson. You need to treat this type of audience with kid gloves - pardon the pun. Someone wrote to laineygossip she was recently in NYC on vacation and happened to stumble upon the movie set and she said (paraphrasing) “it was complete mayhem. The police even had trouble keeping them behind the barriers and threatened them with being arrested. A girl screamed she would go to jail for ten years to get to touch him for 5 seconds”!! These girls dream of being with Robert. If their dream is scattered with the reality that Robert and Kristen are indeed dating, I would be scared for Kristen. It has been documented in research studies that the fastest growing violent group are teenage girls. If the rumours are true about the fangirls not liking her or not wanting her to be with Rob, she would definitely need her own security as it does not appear she has any right now.
So, while I like to know if they are dating, they are doing the right thing in keeping it on the down low. If they are in a romantic relationship of any sort, it must be really hard on them to hide all the time.
What I would really to know is where is Nikki Reed? She was supposed to go to Italy but bailed at the last minute and she has been pretty low profile lately. In the months between tbe Twilight release and New Moon filming, there was numerous pictures of them out and about. There has been no photos of her and Kristen anywhere in the past two months. Nikki and Michael Arganano worked on the film “Lords of Dogtown” and are good friends so maybe she sided with him when Kristen and him “broke up” (am using “” because it has not been confirmed). Does anyone have the backstory (rumoured or not) on this?

Just one comment. I’d love Robsten to be real because they seem like such a great fit with so much chemistry! But I listened to the end of the X17 video several times with headphones, and the owner doesn’t say “That’s Kristen” (why would he say that?) or “Bye Kristen.” He doesn’t sound remotely like he says her name at all. Not discounting the awesome evidence X17 brought to us, but it’s wishful thinking to hear him say “Kristen” anything.

Thank You for taking the time to check all of this.. crap. Because that’s what it is,Now I just read on another site that KS is pregnant with Robs baby, I have to laugh because people will actually believe that.
I wish fans would respect KS and RP and not jump to conclusions, all these rumors make there life harder.It really doesn’t matter, the Robsten believers will believe no matter what, most are 15 year old little girls, I just hate seeing Rob and Kristen being put therew the ringer. When Eclipse starts, Oh My the rumors will get even worse. I bet both KS and RP cant wait for the Saga to be over.
First of all i wanna declare that i admire Kristen and Rob very much.Not only because they’re talented,but also because they’re low profile,down to earth,they don’t care about fame and money,they only like acting.That’s make them so different than the other actors of this age(Zack &Vanessa).When first i saw their interviews for twilight,they were so funny and cozy and comfort with each other.Rob always was gushing her and she was laughing all the time.Now the things have changed with all these crazy rumors going on.She’s afraid to touch him,be near him in public.At the MTV awards,for instance.They were so typical and formal with each other.I don’t know if they’re together and frankly i don’t care,but please someone bring the old Rob and Kristen back!

y2john NEVER stated that Kristen had moved into the Wall Centre. At the time y2john made the post I quoted, he didn’t know Kristen had moved in there. That’s why he and everyone else were so surprised when she arrived in a car from that hotel and never went back to “her” hotel after filming (to get ready for the party). Read what he wrote. He never told us she’d actually moved into that hotel. Lainey told us that.
Yes, Kristen had moved in to the hotel earlier than the date of the cast party. Lainey told us she’d moved in to that hotel sometime before the cast party. But had to have been after Michael A.’s visit.
If you read what I wrote, you’d know that. But y2john was never the one who gave us that piece of info. Lainey was the source. I just put it together when she reported it because I’d read y2john’s remarks a couple of days before. Prior to Lainey’s post though, no one else had talked about it (to my knowledge). In fact, it was something that y2john never mentioned.
His posts were made when the limo driver’s photos surfaced. Lainey’s came a couple of days after that.
He previously stated that Kristen’s brother was staying at a third hotel (not Sutton, not Sheraton). He never named the hotel, and no one asked either.
Lainey is the keeper of the “there is no Robsten” flame. This photo caused enough of an uproar that she gave us that nice piece of info in order to “explain” why Kristen was dropped off at that hotel with Rob. Only it doesn’t really do a particularly good job of explaining things. For the reasons I listed. For the same reason that the alternative explanations of them both being at the Charlie Hotel together (and being seen outside leaving at the same time) do.
The “there is no Robsten and they’re just friends” at this point, is not the simplest and most likely explanation. The most likely explanation is that they shared a room because they’re a couple. They’re more than just friends. If you’re playing the odds, this is your best bet given what we know.
BTW, after all the “fishy” things that went on in Vancouver, y2john said something to the effect that if they don’t want people to think they’re a couple they’re doing themselves no favours with their behaviour. I can’t remember what incident it was after, but I think it was the whole cast party thing - arriving and leaving. And this was before the limo driver’s photos surfaced.
Also, another reason the “security” reason isn’t the best explanation for Kstew’s move: Let’s just say they really were just good friends and this was for security reasons, and they really do want to dampen speculation that they’re a couple. WHY leave alone together in that limo and allow paps access to all those “great” leg touching photos? Why not have Rob leave separately, preferably say 1/2 an hour or so after Kristen leaves (maybe with Ashley or her brother).
Why leave alone with the most hunted man on earth and drive speculation even more (which makes your security situation more tough). As popular as Kristen is, Rob’s popularity is at insane levels. And many of his fans ARE insane. And speaking of insane fans, why, if you’re so concerned with your security and privacy, why stay at the same hotel as the main prey of the bat-sh*t crazy fans and the paps???? Just move into your brother’s hotel. He’s acted to keep fans and paps away from KRisten before. y2john commented about that after the Sam Bradley concert.
But I’ve talked about her “flawed” logic before.
Why did she do what she did? In a way, it IS for THEIR security and privacy It’s because they’re a couple and are sharing sleeping quarters. It does make more sense to move into Rob’s hotel because, given it’s size and multiple entrances, it’s much easier to hide their coming and going after late night partying, etc. Sutton Place would be impossible.
Except when you’re hammered at 3:30 in the morning and take off in a limo together and allow the limo driver to take photos of both of you in front of his hotel - LOL. Lainey DID make it a point to mention that Kristen was loaded after that party.

I’ve never claimed that the studios are keeping them apart. I frankly can’t believe studios would do that to adults. I think they may be getting advice from the publicists, or they’re really ambivalent about how crazy the fans would get if it got out that they are a couple. I think though that they are ambivalent. Which is why they’re only doing a half-hearted job of keeping their relationship a secret.
We’re talking a preponderance of evidence. By your standards, if you were being cheated on, you’d have to wait until you actually caught saw your significant other kissing passionately or actually “en flagrate” with his/her extra curricular partner. Or he/she would have to admit to their indiscretions.
Any other evidence would be circumstantial. You may have seen them go into that hotel together, but no PDA. So they went into a hotel? do you actually KNOW they’re making the beast with two backs? Do you? No. Ahhhhh, so no proof. Sorry. Soooo easy to pull the wool over your eyes. LOL. They were probably having a business meeting.
The evidence suggests that they’re a couple. To me it’s strongly leaning towards “they’re dating”. Very strongly. Like about 90%. But no, I haven’t seen them banging each other. Or playing tonsil hockey.
As I said, if I were the bf or gf of Kristen or Rob, and they were behaving this way, I’d be making some assumptions at this point. And it wouldn’t be that they’re practicing abstinence.

Oh, spare me. I can distinguish between hard (*giggle* just can’t help thinking about Rob with Krisen) facts and circumstantial evidence, so don’t trouble your little head about me. What I do understand is how useful circumstantial evidence is in ferreting out the truth. It is quite useful to police. Just ask a cop about circumstantial evidence. This is why I used the rain at night analogy.
In fact, according to studies, circumstantial evidence can be more accurate than eyewitness accounts. You’d be surprised at what people miss, and how two accounts can differ and actually BOTH be mostly inaccurate.
And Kristen not moving to Rob’s hotel until after the last time she was photographed in public with Michael A. (2/3 of the way through fliming) would strongly suggest that her personal security an privacy were the reason. It was likely because she and Rob were now a couple and the privacy they sought was that of keeping their relationship hidden. Didn’t do that great a job of it though!! LOL

Wow! That is a great post kitty! BUT your wronge! Well more like Lainey is wronge! Lainey said Michael stayed for a week but he didn’t. All the fans on set said he wasn’t there! And there are other reports of MA leaving right after those pics were taken! People that saw him at the airport arriving in VC said he didn’t even have any bags with him! So I believe R/K have been dating a lot longer! ”
Oh, I think you’re right Margaret. I always put that bit about Lainey’s timing of Michael’s departure in there as a dig at Lainey because, while she did seem to have inside scoop about NM goings on, both on the set and off, she could never keep from embellishing her truth with major dollops of BS.
The BS was usually of the dedicated to “disproving” that Rob and KRisten are dating, or “proving” that Kristen was still with Michael. That’s why her paps were always the source of the photos with Michael in vancity.
The post she made about Michael staying in town until Thursday night (she posted it Friday morning), was meant as a dig at the Robsten fans. She also said that Michael booked a room for them for a romantic weekend getaway. Suuuuure.
As you said, no fan sightings of that, and no fan sightings of Michael on set. Ever. And I do remember the twitter about Michael being in the vancity airport that Sat. morning with no luggage. So, for whatever reason, he was likely just in town for the photos shoot.
Lainey should know better than to post such shite in the face of social media which ulimately proves her wrong. but what she did do was make Kristen look pretty bad, inasmuch as Saturday was the Sam Bradley concert which she attended with Rob and then we found out that she moved into Rob’s hotel sometime right before the cast party.
When I post Lainey’s timeline, someone always catches Lainey’s lies and points it out, as you did. Then I have the happy job of agreeing with that person and everyone gets to see another example of how Lainey feels she has to resort to lies to dampen speculation about Rob and Kristen.

And that the happy “couple” did no evening socialising with cast members or even as a couple. No reports or photos of anything, and Kristen had been out socialising just about every weekend prior to this.
BTW, I think they’ve been dating longer than just during NM filming in Vancouver too. But the bulk of the evidence on the nature of their relationship is from their time in Vancouver and the night of the MTV awards ceremony in LA.

I believe that Rob and Kristen always were feeling the sexual tension between them.From the very beginning,the audition.Even Catherine saw it and adviced Rob not to try something with Kristen,because she was a minor and gf of her best friend MA.(That’s Rob’s words at an interview).Kristen from the other side didn’t want to accept her feelings,because perhaps:a)felt guilty for M,who was her first bf,b)didn’t trust Rob,c)she knew Nikkie Reed(he bgf)had the hots for Rob and she didn’t want to be in the middle.But you can’t fight your feelings forever,because soon or later the’re just gonna beat you.That happened to Kristen.I think she realized it at Japan’s premiere.The rumors were there since November,she had denied them many times since then,she said that people misunderstood the way she looks at Rob,but if you see the way they look each other at Japan’s photos,friends don’t look like that.Why she doesn’t look at Taylor the same way?He’s her friend,too.
I was wondering the same thing about Life and Style because one minute they are reporting how wonderful their love is and then the next they are saying it’s all over. This has happened at least twice now.
One fact haunts me. In every video, new and old, Rob speaks glowingly of Kristen. In every freaking photo, new and old, he looks at her with intent and an earnest and compelling expression. He seeks Kristen’s response in every video. I have not seen that in any of the NY photos with Rob and Emilie. In most photos of them following the actual shoot, Rob is either looking down or in some other direction. He makes more eye contact and smiles beguilingly at Ruby, his on-screen little sister than he does with Emilie.
If the eyes are the windows to the soul, it’s hard to believe that he feels that Kristen is just, to quote Kristen last year, “a good buddy.”

Now Kristin is allegedly gay? OMG, how far will people really go? Many actors play the role of a gay individual & it does not mean they are. Brooke Shields portrayed a lesbian in a true story Lifetime movie & I do not believe she is gay. In one of Will Smiths first movies his character was gay & I dont think Jada is havin that! I believed they picked Kristen to “play the gay Joan Jett” because she is versatile. She can be who she wants to be on screen when it is asked of her. You dont have to be a blonde bomshell with stilletos on in every photo to be a “woman.” Kristen is feminine in her own way & she cleans up quite well. You dont have to have the “facts” to be capable of bringing about a sound logical explanation.
Maybe the fans just WANT them to be a couple because they don’t have boyfriends yet. Maybe it’s safer to have fantasies about celebrities instead of asking a nice classmate out and risking to get hurt. Maybe the tabloits use that to sell their crap of shit and the lusting girlies feed on it and actually believe that. Maybe he’s just not Kristen’s type. That does sound more likely then all the “they a secretly dating and Kristen is pregnant” crap to me. Sorry to say it like that but someone has to speak the truth. Sorry if it sounds harsh now but:

I am just a fan of the Twilight books. I am not a big fan of either rob or kristen.. so I feel I am looking a this whole “relationship” thing between them a bit differently.
I truly believe, that alot of this was publicity on the part of summit, to get these movies moving. I was looking at Comic-Con pictures, and you know the next movie New Moon is more based on Bella and Jacob’s relationship and how it blossoms. At comic-con, you see Kristen sits more with Jacob now, not so much with Rob..The more I see, the more I believe its all publicity and they are just co-workers.. there is no secret relationship.. I mean the vibes I get from Kristen is she hides nothing, and why would she hide a relationship that the whole female population of the world wants to see?? Everyone wants Bella and Edward together, hence you WANT Kristen and Rob to be together because of their “chemistry”. Think about it. actually if you watch the vid and put the volume up really loud you can sorta hear their conversation. it sorta sounds like rob said “i love you and i’ll call you when i get there” as he was walking away from the mini coop. and i think it was kristen.. i didn’t watch the vid this time cuz i’ve seen it soo many times but i thought i could tell she was sitting there. also… there is a car door in front of them.. and when the camera goes close in on the feet… i mean why are they standing that close to each other if not for a hug or kiss? idk i like ur guys stuff… but i’ve been reading ur blogs lately.. and there’s a lot ur missing. like maybe it’s summit keeping them ridiculously private not them. and so that’s why they would kiss at a concert but no anywhere else in noticeable public. and now a days notice that they aren’t really hiding it as much.. they just aren’t going full blown with it either.. they are very private people. summit has given them more freedom.. but they still aren’t gonna confirm anything. i mean notice that now when they get asked about their relationship instead of saying no or whatever they just don’t answer or look at each other giggle and turn away.. or look at comic con. they went to a special screening of twilight where they were asked. and rob and kris were standing next to each other. then they look at each other say something, laugh, and kristen goes stand next to someone else. then she later comes back and they are talking about. and then someone asked if the cast wanted to clear up any rumors. and kristen was the only one she noticeable broke down.. not emotionally but like she sorta dropped to the floor got back up and was like “NO” shaking her head and stuff and everyone else just laughed. and she did talk about the rumor that she was pregnant. you guys are good.. ur just missing some body language stuff plus other factors that are there..

seeing as though she is 19, i think all the stories of them are nothing but embelishments, sure they get drunk from time to time and probably had some nooky with each other in the past, but that doesn’t mean dating or love. it’s just that hooking up, ive hooked in hs with some guys and they are not my boyfriends nor was i dating them. same thing here. this is not edward. that is not bella no love story..move on
Kirsten Stewart played her role very well in the movie Twilight. such a young, beautiful and talented actress.
Generally speaking I would agree with your assessment (at this point in time) but I am surprised you left out the fact that there was a lot of hiding behind the open door of the SUV. Even if they weren’t aware they were being photographed, they must have anticipated paparazzo activity because it’s just weird they’d spend 20 minutes hidden behind an open car door otherwise.
