Photo of Rob on His Knees: Real or Manip?
Is this picture of Robert Pattinson real? I don’t think it it, but I would like to know what picture they used of Rob and where the original photo came from.
Robert Pattinson’s fans who have access to Photoshop are keeping us busy around here. This is another “oldie but a goodie”. It keeps popping up every once in a while and brings with it a new round of questions. So, let’s dig around. Is this photograph real or a manip?
The Evidence
Well, a quick look at the, um, physique of the person in the photograph told us that the picture is probably not Rob. The “original” version is a photo manipulation entitled “Bedroom Went” of Prison Break star Wentworth Miller made by LolaRuns. He’s even sporting a beanie. No wonder someone selected it.
The face, we believe, comes from the below photo of Rob taken in August, 2008 at a T-Mobile Sidekick Launch Party in Los Angeles.
If you take a close look at Rob’s face and rotate it around, it looks like the correct smile. We think. Well, let us put it this way: We looked at a lot of photos and this one comes closest.
It appears they used the beanie and ear portion from the Wentworth Miller photograph, and the rest of the face is all Rob. They also changed the photo to black and white to make the manipulation a bit easier.
Update
Thanks to a helpful reader who pointed out the original shot is actually one of Jamie Dornan, an Irish model and actor. So…not Robert Pattinson, not Wentworth Miller. The truth at last.
The Verdict
No big surprise on this one, we don’t believe. Most fans have seen this manipulation around, but it’s always interesting to try to figure out where they original sources come from.
And although this is an older manipulation, some people still think the photograph is real. But no, this one is obvious. It is most definitely BUSTED.

Could you investigate on whether Rob Kris is an item? Please do it. All the rumors make me want to throw up. Rob said they’re not an item and i believe that but some crazies (gossip blogs sluts) just keep on pushing it. They speculate on pics, for God sake.Pfffft

Yes and I am in the category of some people who believed the photograph was real. You guys are brilliant! Seriously, I had no idea that one was not really Rob. I can’t wait to see and read what other myths you bust! Lol!

I feel so freakin bad for Rob. I mean like what the hack is wrong with the freakin people of the world? Why would anyone like make a mani of someone shirtless and in bed?! I mean come on people, seriously, it’s never going to happen to you. I even realize that. So like before you do something stupid, think it over and just think about that person.
