Rob is Wearing a Wedding Ring - Real or Manip?
My friend passed on this photo of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the airport, and you can clearly see he’s wearing a wedding ring! Is this for real? He’s married?
You can clearly see Rob is wearing a wedding ring? Well, you have better eyes than the team here at Pattinson Anonymous, that’s for sure. However, after sitting around twiddling our thumbs for an age (thanks to Gossip Cop for giving us the longest vacay ever), we’re ready to dust off our rusty investigation skills and have a go at this one.
The Evidence
The photo in question is tagged from the photo agency, but the tag doesn’t cover Rob’s hand. Zooming in and attempting a close up on this particular photo just results in a blurry mess, though. While we don’t really think it looks like a ring, we can see why people might think so. The only thing to do is search for the original for a better look. The photograph in question was taken at the airport in April after Kristen and Rob left Budapest.
Above is a larger version. So far, it definitely doesn’t look like a ring, does it? Let’s get closer.
Nope. Absolutely nothing there. Still not convinced? We found another shot from the same trip through the airport that ran in Star Magazine. Although it is smaller, you can clearly see Rob’s hand in this shot as well.
The Verdict
Well, as usual, the full-size photographs really do tell the tale. Trying to zoom in on the first shot doesn’t really convince us that the photo is a deliberate manipulation, though. While that may be the case, we don’t have enough evidence on that front to know for sure. Our guess is that overenthusiastic people are just seeing what they want to see.
This isn’t really about whether Rob and Kristen are together (we’ve discussed that plenty of times and have been on quite a journey there), but whether Rob was sporting a wedding ring when in the airport.
That rumor is most clearly BUSTED.
