This Week’s MySpace Rumor: Robert P./SuperRobMan
Have you seen the new Robert Pattinson MySpace? I’m assuming it’s not real, but it is semi-private and he’s friends with some of Rob’s real friends…so maybe this MySpace is real?
If it’s…um…Thursday, then there must be a gaggle of new Robert Pattinson MySpaces, Facebooks, and Twitter accounts. Actually, that’s true for every day of the week. Let’s look at this one, “Robert P”, shall we?
The Evidence
This particular MySpace appears to be fairly new. The front page is semi-public. Viewers can get a peek at his bio, etc as well as the first page of comments and his Top Friends. It shows a generic (and easily available) picture of Rob.
This Rob does appear to be friends with three of Rob’s well-known friends: Marcus Foster, Sam Bradley, and Bobby Long. Please keep in mind that these gentlemen are tremendously busy and get tremendous traffic on their Music MySpaces. We are virtually certain they give their friend requests a quick click and an approval. It does not mean the MySpace is actually Rob’s. And yes, as of today, he does appear on their “Top Friends”. They appear to have this setting set to “random”, it is merely showing their newest friends.
This particular Rob comments with the fans as well. Something that the real Rob has never done…anywhere, really.
The Verdict
I’m afraid we’re going to sound a bit like a broken record here. Because actually, it doesn’t really matter what the MySpace looks like, what type of photographs it has, who the Rob is friends with or any of these other things.
Rob’s management team has been crystal-clear on this point. In fact, they’ve been crystal clear on it over and over again.
As we’ve stated before, Rob has no official nor private MySpace. He has no Facebook. He has no Twitter. He does not participate in any social networking sites. It’s really quite simple. You don’t even have to think twice when you view any of these accounts. They are all fake. This one is definitely BUSTED.
However, I have a sneaking suspicion that when we open our mailbox tomorrow that there will be a brand-new fake MySpace or Fake Facebook awaiting us. We’re not quite sure what drives people to create these, but we’re happy to bust them just the same.
Update
It appears since we’ve written the article, this particular MySpace character has changed their name to “SuperRobMan”. Still fake, though.

Hey I have a photo manip that I found it was on my towns movie theater page for upcoming movies and it has the official the twilight sagas: new moon title, but it has a pic of rob on it posing as Edward and I don’t know if it’s lagit or not!to find the site google moose jaw galaxy and the right result site name will be cinema clock, go to the upcoming page and scroll almost to the end to November movie and click on new moon,you should get a bigger pic of it and copy it. I really hope you find it because I’m not sure about it
We found it, Emily. We’ve not seen that one before, and it’s kind of hard to get a clear look since it’s so small. We’ll see what we can find out.

Thank you for busting this one. It’s everywhere exactly like the Twitter account he is supposed to have. Obviously someone found a Kristen Stewart fake twitter and this fake said Rob would get one as well and now the link to that one is everywhere, too. I think that people take it more seriously when you are clearing those things up rather than if someone like I told them, though.
By the way, you guys are doing a wonderful job. Thank you. It’s nice to have something like your websites as there are so many rumors around about Rob.
Thanks for posting this. I figured it was fake. It seems obvious it is. LOL Besides, seeing from interviews how Rob values his privacy, if he did have a MS/FB, I would doubt he’d be so public with it. If any MS/FB exists (and I highly doubt it does) no one but his super close BFFs would know about it.
dude, elcorin? you’re not sure the verdict is true, or that the myspace is true? cuz, they proved why the myspace isn’t true. and if they didn’t do it for you, maybe i can help. the pattz isn’t sitting around updating a myspace page, making it hawt for the fans. for serious. he’s said it and he’s had his management say it - he’s not online creating profiles, least of all under any configuration of his own name!

I know that RPA keeps saying that Nick Frenckel (Sp?), Rob’s manager claims that Rob doesn’t have an official facebook, myspace, page etc. Fair enough..but what about an unofficial page? A facebook page under the name of Bobby Thomas with a pic of him from a Sam Bradley gig with Kristen seems very real?!?
I can’t find a link at the moment, however, it doesn’t show up in any searches…it can only be found on some 30 of my friends list and he is friends with Thomas Sturridge, Michele Greene (Alice Hale in Twilight aka Ashley Greene), and the real Camilla Belle, etc. So, when I click on his name there is no option to add, send message or view friends?!?
Honestly I don’t care if its real because I’m not some fangirl but many of my fb friends have created fanspaces for the twilight cast and they are tough on posers of the cast. However, they have a Bobby Thomas in the friend’s list?!? I strongly doubt they’d add a poser and claim he is real? Is this a big fat conspiracy? Are all his celeb friends fake too? Because there’s like more than 5 and they seem very legit especially Camilla Belle.
I just want to help my friends delete and report posers on facebook. Please help. Thanks.

The statement about Rob not having a Facebook, MySpace, etc. refers to both his official and unofficial online presence. We’re happy to take a look at the profile, but our gut tells us that it is most definitely not Rob.
And yes, the rest of the “celebrity” Facebooks are no doubt fake as well.
