Were Rob and Kristen Caught Kissing at the Kings of Leon Concert?
Tell me you’re going to do a story about the pictures of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissing during the Kings of Leon concert. That’s what it looks like to me. Are they finally out as a couple?
The cast of Twilight got a chance to head out to see the Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver. Instead of the really important question that should come from these pictures–how did they snag VIP seats for a Kings of Leon concert… and more importantly, how can we get set up with goodies like that?!–everyone is buzzing on Rob and Kristen’s behavior and the photos that may or may not show them kissing.
The two aren’t hiding around much anymore are they? Is this the smoking gun at last? Rob and Kristen kissing in public? Let’s take a look.
The Evidence
There are a slew of photographs from the night of concert. Most of them are reasonably clear and you can see Rob and Kristen in a lot of interaction. Some of them show the two just watching the concert:
And others show the two talking and laughing with each other:
All of these clearer photos seem to be taken at around the same time. You can see Rob has two beers propped up on the ledge there, Kristen one. Kristen is wearing a white sleeveless tee.
The pictures showing the two in “the kiss” seem to be taken at a different time, probably earlier in the evening. Kristen seems to be wearing a dark jacket of some kind. She must have removed it at some point, because in the other photos she’s in just the white shirt. Rob also only has one beer on the ledge, not two:
Unfortunately, the quality of the earlier photos is not nearly as good. Blowing them up and lightening them up helps a little, as you can see. But it’s still a bit hard to see the details. The above photo is the clearer of the two, we think. You can clearly see Kristen’s head and her ear. You can also see Rob’s beanie, a tiny bit of his forehead and the edge of his ear right above her knee. But what’s going on behind the knee? If you follow the angle of Rob’s beanie, though…his head is looking pretty far down.
For us, the angles don’t match up for a kiss on the lips. Unless Rob is kissing her thigh. Or Kristen is kissing his ear. Or nuzzling his neck. Or something.
Don’t get all dirty now!
The second one you see at the top of our story is a little fuzzier. You can’t even see Kristen’s face. So what’s going on there? Let’s take a look. Hey, we blew it up and broke it down with cute little arrows and everything.
Are you impressed with our mad graphics skills? Yeah, we didn’t think so.
Once again Kristen has her knees propped up on the ledge (evidently, MamaStew never taught her that’s not very ladylike). You can clearly identify her right shoulder and arm as she leans in toward Rob. We think we see her hand on her knee. Rob’s beanie is pretty clearly visible, as is his ear.
Once again it’s the ear. Follow the angle of his head. It looks too low to be aiming for Kristen’s face. Her head would have to be below her knee level for the angles to work out correctly. If you follow her shoulder you can see where her head should be. She would have to be contorting downward in order to be at the level of Rob’s lips.

Honestly, though, the photo is too fuzzy to tell for sure. The angles on this photo are closer than the previous one, but we don’t think it matches up. The knee is in the way, though, so we can’t tell.
Yes, we understand that a lot of you will see the angles and think that is a kiss. That’s okay. It’s a possibility. But we’re looking at the angles and we don’t see it. In fact, we hate to even mention it, but it looks to us like he’s leaning in and she’s talking right into his ear.
The Verdict
We honestly hoped this would be it. Clear proof. Let the arguing cease in the fandom and let Rob and Kristen be whatever the heck they are, one way or the other.
But this isn’t it, in our opinion.
We wish it was it. We want it to be it. We’re sick of the questions, to be honest. But the quality is just too poor, and we don’t think the shots show what a lot of people want them to show.
What we will say is that, overall, the photos of the entire evening do show two people who seem very intimate, happy and comfortable with each other. Friends? Definitely. A couple? Probably so. Proof positive, though? No. Sorry, this photo will have to remain UNRESOLVED.
So, let’s take a deep breath and be happy that the Rob, Kristen and the cast got to see a Kings of Leon concert. And let’s concentrate on the important part.
Like trying to figure out how to wrangle VIP seats for a Kings of Leon concert. Now that is some investigating we’re more than happy to do…

No i don’t think they are kissing, she is just saying something to him, it just like the other photos but he is closer and you can’t see because of her knees. There maybe a Robsten, but this picture doesn’t prove it!
Looks like an intimate situation to me weather it was a kiss or not…but all the pics are intimate for that matter..if people still deny they are a couple ..so what..doesnt change the fact that they are.
Look at photo #5 her arm is bent and he is holding her hand between his hands…they should just come out and get it over with..They don’t need to hide it. they fit well with each other..

I am also one who wished that is a kiss, but honestly it is very likely that the music is loud in a concert and (like you said) they are only close to hear eachother through the music.
Okay, what i think is if they want to be a couple then so be it. If they dont then okay. It really is there chose and even if they did kiss so what?! which i dont think they did. but whatever. let them do what they want!
After your careful analysis, I kind of agree that they don’t seem to be kissing, BUT, that doesn’t mean they didn’t a little before or after the picture was taken, it’s hard to tell what really happened since we weren’t there to see it - cries. But I don’t know, I really think that there is something going on between them, but if there isn’t, I’m sure it will end up happening at some point…

We see what you’re talking about. I suppose our arrow should be further down. Graphics fail. The top of the chair is clearly visible. Her shoulder arm is further down; she’s leaning in toward Rob. We were trying to point out her actual shoulder, but the arrow ended up too high.
This picuture is very difficult to tell if it is a kiss but don’t u all se that kristen’s hand is on robs hair? and her leg is at the ledge so that would mean rob is leaning into her face while she sitting downward is holding robs hair to kiss him not whisper in his ear because if she were to whisper at his ear they would probably be in a different position but other than that i can see robs ear and she is not angled toward his ear its his face she pointing at so just letting you all know it is a kiss u have to identify it carefully hopefully that cleared some misconceptions up about this foto! GO ROBSTEN! AND THEY R DEFINITELY DATING! YAY ROBSTEN!

Ia with Haylee. I think it’s the chair too. With her foot propped up, could Kris be sitting close to the edge of her seat? Which would explain Rob’s angle for the kiss.

i definitely think they are a couple but in this picture it seems to be that Kristen is talking in his ear. maybe sometime during the night they did kiss ( lets hope so
) but nobody was able to photograph it, and that sucks. but lets be happy that they are enjoying themselves and are getting cozy

Did everyone forget that they’re AT A CONCERT. Have you ever been to one? Yeah. It’s damn near impossible to hear people, especially at a sold-out KOL concert.
The angles are all wrong. I wasn’t there and I can tell you they’re not kissing in any of these pictures. It’s common sense. Besides they’re famous actors, they HAVE to know paps will be at the show. That’s the perfect way to get “caught” if you’re dating.
Not to mention if they were trying to give off that impression…it’s because it was staged. All you Robsten lovers need to give it up. You’re exactly the gullible readers the tabloids love, because you buy into their crap.

If anyone is still denying this two are a couple, you must seek help right now. How much is Sukmit paying you? TheChalie Bungalow was not enough proof. They are together and the evidence is beyond reasonable doubt. Too many incriminating pics and too many Hotel Hook ups. Accep the truth. Robsten is the real deal and has been going on for a long time now.
I am unsure as to whether they kiss or not, but you can clearly see in some of the other pics published that they both have a gaga look in their eyes at each other.
I wish they would just come out and say they are dinging or whatever they are doing. This is ridiculous. I just want to know the truth so that I can be legitimately upset about it. I just don’t like Kristen Stewart. Geez. Get on with it already!
I totally agree with Cee and most of you. No kiss. I seen it earlier. He is bent down too far. Concerts are loud. you have to be only inches from each other to hear or talk.
I really believe they are best friends. I have had males that were my best friends growing. We did everything together and people thought we were dating, but we weren’t. has anyone thought he is trying to be there for her since her breakup with Michael?
Would you be in a 3 year relationship and break up just to jump into another one. I wouldn’t.
As for the hotels. The charlie hotel I don’t think they spent the night together. She probably went over there to get dress like most of the cast did. She left her car there over night and her mom drove her there to get her car and see Rob off. That is why her mom was there.
As for last week, her, Rob, and Marcus went back to the room to jam and drink and Rob or Marcus or probably herself said she was going to crash there. She was probably drunk and underage and didn’t want to leave in the middle of the night. If it was planned that she was going to spend the name, I hope she would have brought a change of clothes.
They have chemistry on screen as Edward and Bella. That doesn’t mean they have chemistry off. The have spent so much time together even before Twilight started feeling. Kristen said her self they are ver close and have a special bond. That does not make them a couple. I can’t see them trying to be a couple and if it doesn’t work out their friendship is jepordized.
I still think just friends.

geez, i wish everyone would stop over analyzing. This is obviously them having a conversation and because the music is loud, Rob puts his ear to kristens mouth the hear what she is saying.
I really hope they aren’t together and hope they are just good friends because what happens if they are together and split up on bad terms before they film breaking dawn? If that was the case then what if they couldn’t work together for that movie? would probably mean 1 or both of them would get replaced in the final movie

By looking at the photos I say she’s talking into his ear, concerts are real loud so you need to get close inorder to hear what your friends say to you.

They were able to talk later and not get that close. I really think there might have been something going on but as usual from these pictures, I agree, unresolved.

Looked at the pictures on Twifans. Something I was able to actually see: There are a couple of pictures where it really looks like from the angle of Rob’s arm that he just might have his hand on Kristen’s leg maybe. What do you all think?

I’m just trying to see reality here. People make things out what they want to. Edward and bella they want Rob and Kristen together off screen because they play the characters. When they all went out to the pub after the concert. There are pics of Rob, kristen and Ashley and someone else just chatting. Rob and Kristen were not close. Just hanging out. I’m not saying they won’t ever be a couple, I just think not now.

I see the same angles you did. Plus, I just don’t see them being that careless after all the hiding and mystery. They aren’t going to just give it up that easily…if there is indeed a relationship there. I’m still not totally convinced. Thier talking. Thier great friends, and co-workers, and i honestly think if they were that in love they wouldn’t hide it, Rob had no problems hiding the whole Nikki thing(if there was actually something going on) WHy hide it with Kris?
I just think thier close friends, and playing the parts they play may have made them look like they have alot od chemistry but i honestly dont think its anything more then friendship and a job.. And i’ll continue to think so until there is actual proof.

Ok I don’t think they r kissing I do think pic 5 may show hand holding none of these is proof of anything except they r close and it’s loud. I hope they r together how many other people r going to be able to handle that kind of craziness that they will be dealing with for a long time. I think they diserve some privacy even though I feel guilty wanting to see the pics. I honestly believe the paps feel challeneged trying to catch them as a couple and maybe they would get a bit more privacy if the said they were together even if they weren’t. They r still interesting but no where near as much once it’s out. Kim Kristen was photographed at the hotel wearing two different shirts a white one when they were at concert and at the hotel in the morning likely slept in it or threw it on to go have a quick smoke and later she had on a grey shirt on the balcony again that se was later shown in at a lunch with rpattz and other friends and she also had a bag with her. For all I know though they have been running lines. Maybe if everyone gave them some space a relationship will develop and be shared or not but sheesh give them some peace why is it our business (again guilt becuz I do want to know).
i´m a ceptical person. and in the beginning it didn t look like they were kissing to me. BUT, i gave mysel the trouble (i can t believe i ve used my time doing it!!!!)of resizing it. and, im sorry, it really looks that there s a kiss, because if you see closer, you dont see Kristen s head in top of the seat. she s leaning to him. the knees up is a defensive strategy. for me that s enough. and i finish here . if they are together, GREAT. I don’t think they’re kissing in that photo. He looks like he’s leaning into her to hear what she’s trying to say. If that pic was clearer, you’d see Rob’s profile, not the back of his head (as you would see if he were kissing her). But this is proof of nothing….who said f*ck buddies needed to kiss?
I also don’t think that’s a kiss, but more for a very ridiculous reason: if there is a relationship, they’re doing a hard job hiding it. So why would they kiss in public like that, after the hard work trying to deny the relationship? And if the kiss was meant to be, why are they still “denying” it after all?
I guess that if Rob and Kristen wanted to tell us they were together, they wouldn’t spend ages hiding it and then kiss in public. That is a way too simplistic, isn’t it?
But the photo analysis is briliant. It shows me that Kristen is talking to Rob ears. IF it means a couple loving chat, so it’s another story.
I would like the paps do leave them in peace. It’s quite tiring to come everyday online and read the same old stuffs and the same crazy comments. Why can’t we believe in Rob, for god’s sake? They are just close friends, no romance, no robsten. When are you robsten believers gonna give this up? I guess when Rob or Kristen admits it’s not true, huh? It’s too fuzzy to tell. The issue is that we really see a hand on her knee. So, unless Kristen has three hands, that doesn’t work.
You can see from the angle of her arm she has one hand in her lap thereabouts. We see the second hand on the knee. I have heard people say that is her face where we see the hand on the knee, but honestly, it doesn’t look like it to us. It’s all broken up, and you can clearly see what look like fingers to us. And all of Kristen’s body looks very pale in all of the pics. Where Rob’s ear is at…is not pale in that way.
And put yourself in her position. You can clearly see her right arm and elbow. It’s folded in her lap. Which means if that is her hand on his ear it’s her left hand. Now position yourself leaning back with your knees up on the ledge. Imagine Rob leaning into you (try not to hyperventilate) and you…what? Lift up your left arm, awkwardly twist it around in front of your knee at a weird angle and put it on his neck or ear? It doesn’t seem natural at all. From that position, the natural instinct would be to take your right arm up and over to his neck or ear.
Bottom line…the image is too poor to tell.
